2 weeks after the guy received the item, he turned around and went to his credit card company and filed it as an unauthorized payment. Paypal basically told me I wasn't covered for it because it was sent as a gift, despite the fact I had texts, pictures, phone calls, tracking number, every fathomable piece of evidence against the SOB and paypal still said I was responsible...3+ months of arguing, threatening legal action, and discontinuing business, one customer rep finally saw from my pov and refunded me in full. I was extremely fortunate, needless to say I wont make that mistake ever again.

PayPal does favor the buyer especially in cases like that. I've never had any trouble (fortunTe) but I know some people who've had similar horror stories. Some for some very very expensive knives.
