The Airaid was used for about 3k before I put the Whipple on. The Airaid will include the track only filter that comes with it and the K&N Black filter that I put on it for street driving. This is a tune required version in case you are wondering. I removed the restictor piece inside. $250 shipped and includes my paypal fee

You will need to get the firewall plug for either CAI if you are going to remove your sound tube.

It's rated for track use only. It doesn't filter nearly as much. You can see right through the filter.

Hard to give a fair comparison performance wise but the Airaid is a much nicer looking piece under the hood for sure. The JLT was on my 15 and I never tracked that car or paid any attention to intake temp or anything like that. It was an intake catback tune only car. The Airaid went on the 16 with the GT350 IM and Headers so it's impossible for me to say if one is better. Then I started tracking the car and paying attention to data. I can only say that I noticed high IATs with the Airaid at the track on HOT days so take that for what it's worth. It got hot enough to pull timing during launch though. Could have been the same with the JLT but that car didn't live long enough to see that track. I think on the street the Airaid flows more and performs better when the IATs are down. I asked Lund if I should switch back to the JLT and they told me that they tested them both side by side and there was no performance difference so who knows.
