Front Bumper Collison Sensor

Hi Folks,

Anyone else run into this issue?

I replaced both top and bottom grills with the cervini's grill.

My car is a 2016 Eco boost premium base model

We trimmed the bottom bumper to fit the sensor after it being tucked before hand was giving an error on the main dashboard screen, saying "Collison Senor Blocked"

So with it trimmed and now fits where its supposed to be, everything is plugged in and its still giving this error.

Any ideas?

Can this be tuned out?

OK so an Update on this issue.. Looks like my ecoboost has the Adaptive Cruise Control feature.

So, I have to go back to using the stock lower grill.

I bought the car used and had no idea that this one had that feature and so far there isn't an after market option for those unlucky enough to have this feature on our cars.

ACC is a very nice feature to have if you get enough open road to use cruise control.
