Well, I'm back in a Stang once again. The ZL1 served well for over 3 years, but it was time for something new. The GT500 was the natural progression for me. Being a former Ford technician and this being my third specialty Mustang, it's really cool seeing how Ford has moved this car forward. I really didn't see myself getting one this model year, mainly due to ADM's and only wanting Race Red or Iconic Silver, but several things just happened to align at the right time. And the more I started to look, the more I knew I was going to end up pulling the trigger.

Congrats and beautiful machine! You went through the whole array of American Muscle. Which one is your favorite so far?
I just realized this a few days ago. I have to say the ZL1 up to this point, but I'm sure the GT500 will take that spot as I get more seat time.

That was the car I looked at! It sure looked good on the showroom. PM me, I’d love to share experiences from there!

Badass looking car, can't deny that. Congrats man, you made a good choice. Just has that special sauce the ZL1 doesn't in it's regular form for me. Even in 1LE trim...

I had a gen6 Camaro as well before this, not looking back in any way whatsoever.

There definitely is a little more special feeling about this car. My only gripe with this car is that it's missing a few creature comforts vs. the ZL1 and the price difference. You gotta pay to play though, right?

Love the red + black theme across the whole car, and the exterior is a nice match with the brake (caliper) color.

I'm a fan of a really big, bold bright red. i.e., when I want red, I want RED.

(Our DD/RT is Redline Red, and you can see it from space ... :D)

Thank you.. Red is my favorite color on cars. And red cars with a lot of black accents take it up another notch to me. I had a '13 in the same color scheme.

Congrats, beautiful car and one of the rarest colors for 2020 GT500s. My previous car was a Race Red S197 GT, with Black stripes. Love the race red with black.

Indeed.

I'm rather salty GT premiums get full ambient lighting and we don't. Miss that from my SS. I thought I was going to miss the full HUD, but the track mode cluster is so readable I don't even use the shift light HUD we have.

Also the FP door sill plate isn't illuminated. Badass puddle lamps though. Tit for tat. I'm happy the recaros are manual and not heated or cooled. Best seats I've ever sat in.
