@Deuce McCracken, I have the following codes, but let me preface, a few of them may be from the active exhaust harness trouble that I encountered a while back.

P0050 - HO2 Heater Control Circuit
P0124 - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor /Switch “A” Circuit Intermittent
P0171 - System Too Lean
P26C5 - Unknown SAE DTC
P26C6 - Unknown SAE DTC
P2BF5 - Unknown SAE DTC
P2BF8 - Unknown SAE DTC
P2BF9 - Unknown SAE DTC
P2BFD - Unknown SAE DTC
U0416 - Invalid Data Received From Vehicle Dynamics Control Module
U0606 - Unknown SAE DTC
U1012 - SCP (J1850) Invalid or Missing Data For Primary ID $0C
Lol, geez man!!

Well the common code we have is the P0124 TPS Sensor A intermittent.

Which obviously is the TB.

I had a U0606, which is lost comms with TB sensor A

On the same lines.

I use my HP tuners RTD+ to scan, btw

I did notice one difference between the two which is; the Soler TB has 6 pins inside of the electrical connector, whereas the factory one only has 5 pins.
Just for reference I have an OEM GT350 TB and it’s 6 pin. My OEM 2015-17 80mm 5.0 TB is also 6 pin.
Not to add confusion but the OEM GM ZR1 95mm is 6 pin.

Here’s a few images of the OEM GT350 TB cover for reference.

I check mine via my nGauge. The HO2 Heater Circuit might be an O2 sensor going bad intermittently And some of the others might be from the Throttle Controller that is obviously not talking to the TB either. I tried to clear the codes and they won’t clear (at least with the Soler TB still connected).

2018 was when the 5.0 TB’s went digital. I’m unsure if the Bullitt & Mach are digital signal 87mm TB.
I was under the impression it is Digital, and so is Soler, lol. I should have talked to my tuner for insight.

It would make sense, if there was a weird flip flop. Parts bin car and all, lol

@GregO, do you know if swapping the electronics from the factory to over to the Soler tb would Work? Based on what I see in your pics, it looks like it’s as simple as removing the six retaining clips, pulling the module, replacing it and reinstalling the clips.

Something else I noticed this morning was that the reddish orange plastic clip that was in the connector on the factory tb plug remained stuck inside of the Soler tb module when I unplugged it. This piece here:

I have to figure out a way to remove it without damaging it.

I also found this video for reference. It appears that the gearing is the same in both throttle bodies, so perhaps the module swap with the electronics would be doable. In addition, Soler’s website talks about offering porting service to customers on their factory tb which makes indicates that swapping modules should be possible. If my hunch is correct, that would be the perfect solution, as it should provide the correct signal on 18+ cars that require a digital signal.

Soler is on the bottom.

So, the Soler introduced an adjustable stop for the butterfly, a different gear motor, different circuit board, actually, quite a bit of different, lol

I cant just swap covers the Soler using a different motor, has larger leads than the OEM Bullitt GT350 TB. I'd have to swap over the motor assembly as well.

Which is where Im at now.
