It was fun to try and sneak into the 8's with our 2018 Whipple 3.0 on the 6 rib pulley but I am out of time and 9.0@154mph is the record for now.
I am in love with these Coyotes and the Whipple so I am going to do that same combo but in a new, much lighter chassis! My plan for my Coupe here is a built Coyote, Whipple 3.0 with a Glide to do some Local fun / No Prep racing. I love turbos too but I really like the ease and power of this Whipple 3.0 blower!

Thank you guys, The chassis not an S550 so I don't know if there's a place for a build thread... I might have to sign back in to the ol' Corral.net. Lol, its been a while

Keep us posted, and ya M6G needs a non 6th gen section for builds. I just started a new edge track car build headsup 1/8 deal. Ain't gonna be your daddy's coyote tho. HEHE. All the other mustang forums are dead, and yellowbullet is a shitshow.

Don’t be scared . Lol

This is one was just freshly built my L&M so hopefully my “juju” has not infected it yet . Lol
5.2 custom diamond pistons /Manley I beams
Block is converted to use the longer 12 mm head stud.

Looking forward to what your 18 does with the 10 rib .

Priorities are changing for me so getting rid of everything(including the GT 350) but the 18 .

probably will also see much less time at the strip .

I've seriously considered doing this. Coyote swapping a Fox or Fairmont/Zephyr. Even thought about taking the Whipple/Coyote out of my '15 to do it with. Definitely keep the build thread here. Always wondered what a boosted Coyote would do in a car that weighed 500+ lb less.

It's the 1 Year Anniversary for the beginning of the build, here is a quick update:
1993 Reef Notch
TKM Gen 2 Coyote-Pistons, Rods, Sleeves, OPG/CS and valvesprings only.
Gen 5 Whipple 3.0 CJ Kit, ProFormance Powerglide and a Team Z Outlaw 9" rearend.
Gen 2 Ford Control Pack with Ngauge tuned by Jon Lund Jr.
I'm up to the 20psi pulley so far and it makes about 1000rwhp and still using only the Footbrake so far went 8.3@166mph (I have a 21 and 24psi pulley still on deck)
It's been a fun time in 2020! Sam
