Tonight, at a restaurant, I ran into Charles Capper, owner of Capper Ford, Williamsburg IA. He knows I have
a 500 and jokingly asked if I wanted another. He said he has a 50 mile car bought by a guy, but the father
would not put up the cash, so the sale fell through. I asked about markup & he said "we don't do that".
On the way home I stopped & looked in the showroom window. Rapid Red w/ black vinyl stripes, has Gurney
flap, so must have handling package. It is not listed on their site, so call 319-249-0177 for details.

As long as the car never had the DMV paperwork sent in and never had the paperwork go through that it is technically a brand new car. Sounds like a great opportunity for the right person with a nice color combo!

If those were painted stripes, it would be around $95k, but those are vinyl. That car definitely has a markup.

Did some math based on configuration of car, assuming no car cover included.

Base price: $80,795 (GG and D&D included)
Vinyl stripes: $1000
Side stripes: $375
Recaros: $1650
Carbon dash: $1000
Tech pack: $3000
Handling pack: $1750
RR paint: $495

Total: $90,065 + 5k ADM = $95,065.

Still decent for essentially a brand new GT500.

At least a 5k+ ADM on a bought/backed out BASE car. Nothing to write home about. If OP or the salesman were lying about the ADM in the “story” that especially makes this a HARD PASS.
