I'm not going to say it's a bad idea for Ford to offer a hybrid or EV using the Mustang platform, so long as we get the electronic mimicking of that V8 sound we all love to enjoy.

WatchJRGo YouTube channel showed an EV Mustang for a second or two in his latest video. Whether it was Ford or user sponsored, I'm not sure.

I could be down with an EV Mustang. But you'd probably have to pair it with the automatic, which would make it a non-starter for me.

Most EVs don't have multiple gears so I'm not sure how you would make that a manual. I'm pretty sure an EV Mustang would have just 1 gear as EVs are power efficient compared to an ICE vehicle and they rev much higher(try 20k RPMs instead of 7k).
