I had the FRPP Sports and had to switch to the Touring after adding SW long tubes, it was just too loud even below 3k.

Here's a vid of the Touring/SW setup (mic is under the rear bumper)

i added the Borla Touring muffler to bring it down, but now i feel like i went too far, and now it doesn't scream like it did, and kinda want more volume.

What rebate?
There's a $100 mail-in-rebate going on with Stainless power until August 31st.

Or you could not spend an insane amount of money and go with Texas Speed?
With the rebate and the forum discount, you can get can get catted SP headers cheaper than the TSP. I'm not going to post the price or who, because I'm not going to advertise exact prices without the vendor's permission. Just PM some vendors and ask around.

This is not a bash on the TSP headers at all, I've read the entire thread you started and they seem to be very nice and they sound killer (your car in general is awesome, that's why it's the MOTM!). I've just been a fan of SW and SP and want to go with them

Understandable, I've had Stainless Works on a past build, and they were pretty great.

You should have driven it for two weeks before changing it you might have liked it better the way it was.

So the consensus is sport with headers maybe to loud. I think it depends on how much you care about other people's ears.

The sounds awesome like the gods arguing. I noticed you had your seat cooler on the whole time ha ha ha Florida.

Catless it didnt have the tone I was looking for so I changed to a full 3" Stainless Works catback.

hmm. Maybe it's just the video but the sports seem to have a very different tone. I'm almost more of a fan of the touring mufflers judging from that.

i'm thinking of keeping my FRPP touring catback and adding SP LTH because of stoli's/diva danielle's sound they got. seems to have taken the farm truck pop away some.

Personally I'd like an option with catt'ed headers that puts you somewhere between factory headers and Borla Sport/ATAK in terms of sound. Upper range with almost every combo so far has had "raspy" sound and is just Harley Davidson loud.

I like my grunt as much as the next guy but my neighbors will eventually get tired of their windows rattling when I come home and I like my paint job. :)

If you want less rasp go with h pipe. Most of these setups are x pipe.
