Ford's car sales being down 41.1% from the previous year's quarter, sure shows what happens when you don't have products to sell.

60,000 sure doesn't seem like much compared to the top selling vehicle of 2020 the Ford F-150 at 787,000 units.

No opinion just stating some numbers, lol.

Looks like the Bronco is going to be a big hit for Ford based on just the sales of the baby Bronco (Bronco Sport).

Yup

I can confirm that the MikCorp Automotive Group sold zero cars.

Hopefully the take rate on Coyote F150's is still a good portion of those sales. That is what keeps a v8 in the Mustang.

And those are just the North American sales. Not bad considering the mess Covid 19 made of 2020!

Agreed, for Mustang saled to be down only 15% with all the BS of this year is a win in my book.

If they make the GT500 available with a manual transmission, I’ve got a sale for Ford!

Have you ever driven a DCT equipped car?

DCT vs. manual thread this is not, that being said I for one wouldn't buy a DCT/PDK car. I just love manuals. I have driven a ton of DCT/PDK cars via BMW and Porsche. I still like manuals better while fully acknowledging the performance advantage of a DCT or other automated shifting car. Its a personal thing to be honest.

I just don't understand. I mean, according to some, the Mustang is poorly-built, unreliable, overpriced and underperforming vehicle in all trim levels yet it continues to outsell the offerings of Ford's domestic competitors in the space. What does that say about the competition?

Good to see that the Mustang is still on top of things despite the pandemic. Hopefully, Ford will be able to improve more on this this year since things are destined to get better this year (knock on wood...).

The competition has a small but loud and rabid following, and combined make it seem like the car is much better at just about every aspect.

I mean all I hear is how impressive the LS/LT engine is, and how impressive the Alpha chassis is, yet for some reason the Camaro just ain't selling the same as the Mustang on an inferior chassis.
