Thanks Zach. Brooke responded to my email telling me the 3 yr(5yr?)/36,000 mile warranty runs concurrently with my factory 3yr/36k mile warrant.

That doesn't make any sense. It should be consecutively with my factory warranty-so it kicks in after my factory warranty expires.

I emailed her back and she didn't respond.
Yes, the coverage is from the original in service date. So if you purchase and 8 year coverage it runs for 8 years from original in service date, not 8 years from date of purchase.
Is the live pricing the best pricing?
Yes, it is reflecting our $50 over cost pricing.

Well, you just need to adjust your thinking. :giggle: Kidding aside I didn’t buy my ESP for the powertrain as much as the electronics. Far better chance of something really expensive going wrong there. Heck, the first thing I used my ESP on was the stupid pony puddle lamp on my drivers side mirror.

Lots of expensive electronics to consider also! I generally don’t like extended warranties, but this is a good deal for lots of folks. Evaluate and decide if it’s right for you or not. Don’t make assumptions — study the info available on the Ford Protect ESP website.

I checked the prices and decided $100 best for me. I did the 96 months 100k miles as I plan to do lots of summer traveling in the car.

BTW, getting the plan from Granger was half the price my local dealer wanted. So much knowledge and help on this forum!

I sent them off an e mail.
What are other dealers charging as I m looking at 8 year/60K/Premium coverage?
Just wondering how much is being saved with Grainer?
They look like a super friendly dealer to us all!

My local dealer wanted $3400 for the same that I got from Granger for $1590 (96/100k Premium). I could not get the local guys to budge. Crazy markup, but I think that’s the MSRP for it. Sell none at full price, or sell lots at lower price, and make money and good will. I guess my dealer makes enough if he just gets one or two suckers. At that price I would have not gotten any. Granger is doing a great business for Ford.

High years, low miles, $50 deductible.

Just pulled the trigger. Got 96month/60K/$100 ded for $925 minus what Ford Points I had left.
Did it all online. Grainer said about 30 days to show up on FORD PASS but it s locked into the vin for any dealer to see they say. Still under regular warranty for a while anyway.
