Yes, unfortunately Florida limits what we can do at this point. We can sell it to you if you have a non-florida address for your vehicle.

Not long after the new year the price (lowest mileage anyway) went up a few hundred $$, making me wonder if it is worth it now. Thanks to Florida law we have to buy the plan from a Florida dealer or Ford online.

What's up with the FL law thing? If your vehicle is registered in FL, extended warranties must be purchased from a FL dealer or service provider? I have 2 mustangs coming up on the end of their 3yr factory warranty w FL tags. Would really like a nice plan.

I assume perishable items such as tires, batteries, wiper blades, filters, etc. are not covered.

I assume any non-Ford part is not covered.

I have longer studs pressed into my wheel bearings. If a wheel bearing fails, will it not be covered because it was modified?

Does the ESP work always have to be performed by Ford Service?

That is correct, there is a maintenance plan that covers "perishable items" that Ford offers. But normal maintenance items like you mentioned aren't covered under the mechanical repair coverage.

You would also be correct that any non-factory piece that was added that is not a genuine Ford accessory would not be a covered item.

Ford ESPs can be performed at any Ford dealership as well as other dealership facilities (i.e. GM, Stellantis).

Now that we have a sample size of sales on the Ford ESP. It is cool to see what we are saving customers versus MSRP. Our Average savings on a FORD Protect Plan at $50 over cost is a little over $1800 in savings!

If you are looking for an Extended Warranty, this is definitely the most cost-effective option!

We can go up to 41 months from the purchase date or 41,000 miles.

Correct 41 from the original I'm service date.. regardlessly of how many owners.
