Charlotte. Its hard to argue with Billy. My point was that even on a short course, like Tooele, the GT was much slower and less capable than the 350. Introduce a much faster banked course and what is the point? My issue with the FPRS is that you were never able to book a second day to drive the car you came there to drive. In the Tooele example, a GT350. In the Charlotte example, a GT500.

The GT is not a roval car. All you are doing is buying a second day in a car with far less capabilities. If the FPRS could do one thing different, my choice would be a second day in the car you came to drive.

Oh and Billy, he's one hell of a driver.
Thanks for the clarification, I just assumed the second day would be in the 500 too. I only did the Raptor Assault in Tooele so I didnā€™t know how the Mustang courses went.

I had the pleasure of meeting Billy this last weekend. He didnt impress me as a salesman. Maybe he was speaking in terms of someone who has never driven on the track to get extra instruction. Maybe in that context it makes sense. But in all honesty, when I drove the GT at tooele, I was bored. I can't imagine doing day 1 in a 500, which is a daytona/charlotte machine, and then stepping into a GT.

Don't recall GM offering such an opportunity for any of it's "track-intent" cars, including the ZL! 1LE. Nobody ever takes that into consideration when they get into those ridiculous pricing arguments on message boards.

I thought the course at Charlotte was going to use the twisty track in the infield and not the big oval.

Last I looked, charlotte is like the 24 hour course at daytona. Inside and outside. I would be extremely disappointed if it was inside only.

Itā€™s $1k for a 2 day course at Spring Mountain for Corvette owners.

The way I understand it, they will use the Roval course (infield and outer banks) like the Nascar race.

I did 2 track days with my GT350 in April on the Roval, its a fun course but no where near the fun and technical as Utah Motorsports Park.

Wonder how the weather will play into the equation given the move from Utah to NC.

Does anyone know if this is a yearly event or is it only for 2020 buyers?

It is yearly but a 2020 purchase must be used within 1 year of purchase. I bought a 2016 GT350 in Feb of 2016
my track attack expired as I wasn't aware of the program till it was to late. :sun: I called and even though I wasn't notified of the program
they said "no go" . The spots are tough to come by as well, they were for the GT350 :like:
