When they said 700++ I am glad to see it wasn't just 725 or something along those lines. 760 is a big number but I really want to see some more numbers on this car. Seems like they have just really been dragging their feet on this whole thing

The GT500 is last place in torque though and even less than the 13-14 GT500 at 631. While I’m happy with the HP I’m concerned the DCT might be at the limit already with that torque rating.

I was specifically addressing HP, per the previous poster - sure, there are other metrics where it’s less competitive, but I’ll wait and see how it works as a whole package - and I suspect it will be incredibly effective.

I’m very happy with ford.

I even like the fact torque was “low”.

It’s a challenge to create high HP while keeping torque low at high revs, especially with a blower which is tied to engine speed.

Ford did great, I was in the 720-730 boat.

But I did feel torque would have been 25-40 higher. I’m happy with the lower torque.

I agree they acted like, they where going to pull a dodge, remember dodge said mid 600s and then holy shit 707hp god damn. To me it just feels like ford being conservative.

Eh......I'd say more like high 3900's in Carbon Track Pack form.

It does have some tricks up its sleeve. The front subframe for instance is magnesium.
