"Mustang retail sales gained 7.4 percent expanding its retail share of segment 1.4 percentage points - totaling just over 32 percent share.

Combined November retail sales of Shelby GT350 and GT500 increased 33 percent. Mustang sales overall totaled 4,119 cars for the month, and while this is down over a year ago, retail sales were up 7.4 percent, Mustang’s retail share continues to buck the trend, with retail share of segment up almost 2 percentage points in November to just over 32 percent of segment."

You can sell more cars if you allocate 5000 of car A, and 5000 of car B rather than just 5000 of car A. Double shocker.

And as soon as they announced the end of the GT350s - everyone needed one! (Including me)

As far as I know Ford Flex sales were never really strong , but I sure see a lot of Flex cars on the highway. Must be the owners just keep driving them and don't trade them in on a new Flex. If Ford would have continued to make the Flex , I would have bought a 2020.

Flex is absolutely adored by its owners, always has been. It's still a niche car though in a way because of the polarizing styling.

I really wanted to a 3.5EB Flex as the family car but my wife hated the styling, and we ended up with an Exploder Sport. Still regret it when I see them on the street.

Hey, talking about that, are you happy with your 'panic purchase' Vette? Ha ha. Have read mixed reviews on that car, even excluding the plethora of issues expected on a brand new model. Curious how you compare it to your ex-GT350.

I happened to stumble upon this C8 for MSRP thanks to a friend after my 2020 GT500 deal went south when the dealer decided they wanted ADM. It's been a lot of fun so far. The DCT shifts ridiculously quick and the car uses its power well. The only knock I have on it so far is there is no tuning support making moding it extremely risky. Ideally, I would have loved to have kept my GT350 as well because they are special cars. The manual transmission with the sweet sound of the flat plane crank V8 was pure bliss.

I’m glad I bought my 2020 GT350 in August before the discontinuation announcement by Ford. My older brother wants one now that he’s ridden in mine, but he can’t find a new one that’s not marked up 20%. We’re in agreement that the 2019/2020 GT350/R is the “perfect Mustang” that we had always hoped our Mustangs could be, but never really were.
