Looks like I will be hanging on to my 17' for a while

I thought I was going to do the same until they (Vroom.com) told me my 17 was worth more than I paid for it brand new so I upgraded to a Mach 1. Took advantage of that and had a healthy chunk paid towards the Mach 1. Should have it paid off in another year or so.Looks like I will be hanging on to my 17' for a while
Crazy, but I certainly believe this. Ever since the massive covid spike in used cars I keep an eye on the general market for low mileage 2015+ and newer mustangs and am shocked at how many used 2015-2019 mustangs with 30k miles are selling over MSRP... years later with some miles, dents, mods and wear and tear. I know we all have good cars but common this is insanity.iSeeCars has analyzed 1.2 million vehicle listings from February to March and listed which vehicles currently have the highest dealer price markups.
The Mustang is #12 at 19.1% above MSRP.
On average, new cars are listed for 9.9% above MSRP.
I like your avatar. is there a full photo of it? sorry to side trackCrazy, but I certainly believe this. I've got the hat trick on this one:It's the reason I ordered new via Granger vs buying used. Had been saving for 10 years prior to just buy a 15-17 cash. Didn't even make sense anymore with the way the market currently is. Why not spend the extra 5-7K and buy new at this point. I feel bad for kids turning 16 soon.
It's worth it man. Good for getting away for one and two it still saves a lot of money.I've got the hat trick on this one:
1. I wanted a new Mustang GT
2. My wife wants a Jeep Wrangler.
3. My son turns 16 this summer.
Fortunately I was able to solve #1 by ordering through Chapman at 3% below invoice. It'll mean a drive to Pennsylvania, but no regrets at all, because all of the dealers around here won't drop below MSRP, and some are adding premiums above it.
You have a link to that by chance? I tried to Ctrl+F around that page, but couldn't find anything.Yeah.....that website has 0 credibility with me. Completely fabricated information from people that don't know anything about cars.
This is from that very same web-page;
Solve #2 just as easily @Zach@GrangerI've got the hat trick on this one:
