This is not really true: The euro spec has (part of) the PP standard. The EcoBoost manual has 3.31 gears by the way.Nice! This is the first official 0-60 test I've seen completed with a non PP GT. I'd bet the lighter non premium base with 3.55's would be a tick quicker.
Euro homologation, I think. The engine and real horsepower should be the same.It looks weird without black wheels. And why does the 5.0L only have 415 hp (in US numbers) when the 2.3L is up to 313 hp?
Bummer. There are plenty of tests with the GT PP. It would be nice to see a test with the non PP GT...This is not really true: The euro spec has (part of) the PP standard. The EcoBoost manual has 3.31 gears by the way.
Different tunes to comply with silly rules related to emissions and other tax regulations. Also insurance or tax rates are based on HP in some countries, shaving off a few may make a big difference in the cost of ownership. I think it is no coincidence that the CO2 emission on the EB manual is 179g/km, which is exactly one gram shy of our highest emissions tax bracket for new cars.It looks weird without black wheels. And why does the 5.0L only have 415 hp (in US numbers) when the 2.3L is up to 313 hp?
It looks to me like the driver in the 5.0L goes from 1-2 right about 4 seconds and then 2-3 after hitting 100 KPH. The clock stops at 4.8 seconds before the 2-3 shift.I m all confused here! If it has the pp where is the gauges in the middle? This car is either 3.31 or 3.73 not 3.55! I dont think they offer 3.55 as an option in europe! And i saw that he did shift to 3rd gear so it might be 3.73 gears! Someone with a good eye can observe the speed, rpm and tell us what gearing this beast has!
Unfortuneatly : No center gauges on EU models...Can't have it all...I m all confused here! If it has the pp where is the gauges in the middle? This car is either 3.31 or 3.73 not 3.55! I think the Euro spec is similar to the Australian spec for the 5.0 GT - which is a 3.55 Diff, with PP wheels, Brakes, Suspension etc.I m all confused here!
