Adding 300 over the regular track pack 350.

Trans will be 60-80 more
Supercharger 100-120
Wheels tires, brakes, sway bars, axles. All adds up
That would mean they did nothing to cut weight elsewhere. And if Farruko is right this car is 4100+. That’s closer to 400 than 300. You’re telling me they couldn’t cut 100 pounds somewhere.

Outside of supercharger and trans, all that other stuff should be negligible. Oh well, hopefully we will know soon enough

Def CGI lol

Looking at that rear wing, maybe it’s a GT500 R/KR variant? They might have a regular GT500 with a smaller spoiler?
Nice catch! It has red snakes.... so I would think R variant.

Maybe the "non-R" have a different spoiler and stuff

Oh really ...I sold my 16 track pack over 17 months ago waiting for the next GT500. Need the seat in the pants feel of torque down low. Just watch what happens.
Personally I can't imagine waiting ~30 months for a new GT500 but that is just me.

As you know the GT350 and GT500 cars are totally different animals and each car generally caters to a different crowd altogether.

I had 3 of the last GT500's and was very happy to move on to NA Boss 302's and GT350/GT350R's as a much more purist and entertaining car for me and most of my car buddies.

Being an old car guy I have many car buddies in NA and cannot recall anyone of them that still having a GT500 but still have a lot of car buddies that have hung onto their NA Boss 302 cars.

Trust me, as time goes on owners of GT350/GT350R's will realize just how special these cars were especially the R's with CF wheels, rear seat delete, resonator delete and of course the list goes on.

Hope that you get your GT500 sooner than later and if Ford sells ~11,000 GT500 units as they did back in 2007 there should be plenty to go around for everyone!!

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Oh really ...There is a ton of used 350’s in the market already. Some of us need the seat in the pants feel of torque down low. Just watch what happens when the GT500 hits the streets.
You’re just mad about having to drive a corvette.

Just kidding. We will all see what happens in about 18 months

The title of this thread is wrong. This is a 2020 MY arriving in 2019. It's NOT a 2019 MY as the title describes it.

The sound in the newly released video sounds like the FPC 5.2 VooDoo, given the supercharger leaks this ought to be interesting.
I hear the FI sound and not the voodoo sound . That engine has seen its days since FP went back the CPC crate engine for racing duties.

Mustang gt premium
I was also close to buying an 18 GT last Friday -Premium/PP1/recaro/magneride/active exhaust /A10 in lieu of the lack of initial information about the GT 500. It was to be the fourth and final in the stable .I had plans to add a whipple/TVS .Adding the supercharger to the $50K MSRP would have had me at $60 k and it would still have just been "just " another supercharged GT .

I am glad I waited ! .I will gladly pay the premium over the $60K for this beast.....especially since it's going to be be "final one "
Final one? Has your wife threatened you or has the money tree not been producing? I am jealous. That will be the argument for me. Buy a mustang GT and go aftermarket or gt 500? Im thinking at what price is to much for gt 500?

Well, most of the "GT350 enthusiasts" will be selling their car this year for the next top Mustang.
I was thinking the same thing. Newest greatest thing. Hum...... Bullitt or Shelby GT500 ?

So without DI is the predator just a 5.2 Alluminator XS with a 2.6 TVS on top .
May be decreased CR ?

Headlights are definitely different than the 15-17, maybe same shape but the housing looks blacked out.

So nobody cares about that engine pic from Lethal? Lol this is the third time being posted.
They sit on a throne of lies ...

:D

Right, yes, that's amazing, what's the source/info/deal?

Not just blacked out, but the inset for the light continues down the side, almost like a vertical duct into the fender area.

If the consensus is that this will be approximately a 750 HP, 4k lb car, then I hate to say it, but it's really kinda going to put it into the small performance space between the ZL1 and the Hellcat Widebody. It might be the top dog of those two cars on the track (evenly matched on the strip), but there won't be enough of a difference to make people say, "Damn, I gotta have the GT500!"

If anything, I think this becomes a "manufacturer favorite" war - Dodge guys are gonna want the HC, Chevy boys will claim the ZL1 (and don't forget the mid-engined Vette), and Ford fans are going to stick with the GT500.

In other words, I don't see the mass appeal of the 500 that the GT350 created among ALL car enthusiasts - that car pulled in drivers of all makes - Porsche, Chevrolet, Nissan, Dodge, you name it. I hope I'm wrong.

Is it a badass car? No doubt! Is it a little late to the game. Absolutely.
