With all the technology integration, i. e. spying, I'm worried we may not be able to pull a fuse on the S650...

Anyone heard anything about allocations being released? I got a phone call from my dealer today saying they could order a 2021 starting tomorrow, but I haven't seen an order guide or heard of anyone else getting called.

The order banks are not open yet for a 2021 GT500. Your dealer wants a downpayment and a commitment but can't place an order yet.

Today (November 19) is the last day for Dealer Registration in order to receive an allocation(s) for the 2021 MY & 2022 MY GT500. Today I saw the Dealer Marketing Swag and Customer Gift Box - pretty much looks the same as 2020.

I hear the 2021 Order Banks may be up in a couple of weeks. Will let you know when my 2021 order is submitted by the Dealership.

Same here. Just waiting. My dealer said he would contact me soon as he can put the order in. Hoping my order is in my stocking before Xmas!

Curious, has anyone actually seen a 2021 order guide to pick what they want for their 2021 orders?

I flew to Detroit yesterday and spent the day at Kohr Motorsport's shop in Westland. I was truly a kid in a candy store. I was lucky enough to meet up with people directly involved in the current and future, S650 Mustang program. I think we are in pretty good hands, at least as far as engineering is concerned. Something I think I can share...the engineers are well versed in issues such as the "pinched hose at the firewall" problem and are doing their best to rectify. Flat Rock, on the other hand...

There was plenty of bad ass, full race GT4/FP350S/GT350R/Boss cars there, as well as the killer IMSA Michelin series championship winning Aston Martin. Killer, all of them. All good people and I wish them nothing but success.

If you are still there, go buy Dean a bottle of his choice and I will pay you back.

I think there were plenty of spirits consumed on the eve before my arrival so I missed that opportunity.:)

I flew in and rented a car to haul some booty back home the same day. So I am out of the Motor City and back to the Empire State (of total disarray).

Regarding the Aston, I have to share. I spent time with my good friend Tom Wenstrom, a decades long crew member for Dean, taking a closer look at the beast that won it all.

Used to Mustangs and I was surrounded by the best of the best, it seemed odd to see the Aston there. Underneath the bonnet is a jewel of a Mercedes engine that simply got it done this season. The last race at Sebring, I prayed nobody hit the car and took it out as it was in position to win it all. Based on the message displayed just for the last race across the rear of the car, I wasn't alone...:)

Good looking car. Picture 2 look like T8, better known as the Corkscrew, at Laguna?
