How tall are you? I have no problems with the head rest.

I think I could sleep in the recaros if I had to, my back might die though.

The Recaros curve up, so you're forced to nap with your chin in your chest. I stopped off at a rest stop on a late night Houston run (six hour drive), and tried to take a short nap. Needless to say, it didn't work out. I've kept a travel pillow in the trunk since.

How far do the Recaros recline? What if I want to have some fun with a lady friend? Come on Ford!

One possibility is to go to bed a little earlier. ;)

Then you don't need to do any goofy things to your car. I gotta assume that your bed is way more comfy than any seats.

Oh god yes, it's a king sized slice of heaven. I don't always have that luxury on road trips though. Sometimes an interstate side nap is a necessity.

We can sleep when we're dead!

Sometimes, you just can't pull it off. There's a point where red bull loses its effectiveness. Lll

I havent slept worth a damn since I was 17. Career in the Marine Corps was no different; been retired a year now and it's still the same LOL. Body gets tired but the brain just never stops. For some of us, it just doesnt matter how tired you are, you just cant sleep (and I dont have any drama or stress in my life).

A few years of global service work and the Cheif position I now hold has taught me to sleep at every allowed opportunity. I constantly get 2AM wake up calls for problems that my night crew can't handle on their own.

I have mild adrenal fatigue. I can go to sleep as early as I can and get a full 8 or 10 hours but still feel like I only slept for a few.
