So, if any of you went from a second gen s197 (11-14), and I'm sure plenty of you did, to an S550, how did your insurance change? Up, down, or stay the same? Granted, I know all insurance is different, and it varies person to person, company to company, and location, but I figured I'd ask anyway lol.

It's been a while now but I think it actually went down a few dollars a year, it wasn't enough of a difference to be memorable.

Up, because my S197 was 5 model years old and therefore a lot less valuable (meaning cheaper for them to replace) than the S550. Wasn't a big jump, only 40 bux a year or so.

I had a 2011 GT and a 2003 Cobra at the same time in Cali and my insurance was $30 cheaper a month than my ecoboost by itself in MA :(

Apparently the state is driving it up according to the insurance companies.

Down just a bit. 11 GT was $104/month for full coverage and my 16 is $98/month with $251 collision deductible and $51 comprehensive. Geico. I'm 25 with a clean record.

About the same, a little up. I went from V-6 to GT.
