Redline is the best. I got the dark charcoal alcantera with red stitching for my ‘17 R.. perfect color match and quality. They ‘get’ it. Silly to go anywhere else.
Leaning towards the redline...are these easy to install?

If you watch the 3 CJ Pony Parts videos in the first pages of this thread, you will see exactly what’s involved-
I am in the process of installing mine.

It's a pain in the ass. Highly suggest getting lessons learned on this from someone before attempting. CJ video is not sufficient.

I am using brush on contact adhesive. It's... Meh.

More to come once completed.

Anyone have the video for doing the console lid? Cjpp has removed the video for some reason.

Adding pics of the Shifteck pieces for comparison I put in December. Parking boot is a little taut. But doesn't lift up the handle. Didn't pre-stretch it though. I'm happy. Would be nice if it wasn't so tight however.

I would recommend taking the console lid off to an upholsterer. Cost is minimal and believe me it's worth it unless you do upholstery regularly. I tried 3 times before I begrudgingly handed it off. The handle cut outs especially were a pain to get right without wrinkles. Not to mention the glue is annoying to work with while trying not to get it on anything.

My guy added some extra "plush" underneath the wrap as the console has almost an inch of hard plastic around the edges. It's only foam in the center. He also put plastic over that to make the console slippery enough to stretch without wrinkles. Handles were perfect and he also had the correct size staples - no glue.

Mine were waiting for me when I got home. I went with the Silver thread and ALC 9002 Alcantara. Thank you '5.2 liters of democracy' for the suggestion on colors. These look like a great match and are definitely high quality. Unfortunately, I won't be able to put on my car until she's back from paint. Really nice stuff though!

Installing them this weekend. I went with the Dark Charcoal and silver stitch. It's an incredible match.
Here are two images to show the match. The other is comparing to the shifteck piece.

Great info. Bought these panels today and I'm guessing this is the same color you all have in your 350s? Adding some alcantara love to my GT so want to make sure it matches. For some reason the panel alcantara looks darker.

I ordered the samples from Redline so will see what matches best. Worst case I have the upholstery shop match it.
A page back @5.2 liters of democracy had a post about the dark charcoal with silver stitching matching almost perfectly, I don’t think you’ll get much closer. That’s what I plan on going with when I pull the trigger on shifter and e brake boots

Edit; I see you’ve already quoted those posts

I trust he is correct but for $10 to see it myself before ordering it would give me peace of mind.

I just bought the shiftek kit. Is it alcantara? the stuff I received looks more like felt, it doesn't have the feel or look of alcantara. when you brush your finger over it, the material doesn't shift like alcantara.

If it is actually alcantara, it is very cheap. I noticed the same thing. Moves like a material halfway between alcantara and cardboard. The Redline stuff feels far, far superior to it.
