"ban books" Im not sure what context that could even be taken out of lol.. He is trying to remove books that teach elementary school kids about LGBTQ and sexuality. Something we shouldnt be showing kids that age. Thats what was trying to be banned. Not "books". Get your head out of your ass libratard.

Would this be anything like the “Infrastructure Act” which has pretty much zero actual infrastructure spending in it? Let’s be honest here, seldom does the legislation thats named something have anything to do with whats actually in it.

Since we're discussing politics, Ronny-boy gave a big fu to AAs when he appointed a guy proudly wearing a KKK uniform (Gadsden County Commissioner Jeff Moore) and then to the LGBTQ community when he nominated Ron Peri to the Disney special district board, who's theorized that evil homosexuality is caused by oral contraceptive medication getting into the water supply and estrogenizing it (presumably from patients who take the medication and urinate). Ronny even vetoed his state’s budgetary funding for mental health support for survivors of the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting, housing for homeless queer youth, and funding for Orlando’s LGBTQ+ Community Center.

since ron seems a little too controversial for this thread i have deleted my post but still stand by my opinion that the "new sheriff in town" (his words, not mine) is a bozo

You will find many who agree with you, but it won't change anyone's opinion of him.

Not sure I'm aware of any politicians who I would say the word bozo doesn't fit at least to some degree.

It's probably a good thing in my opinion to stop any kind of organized street racing. I'm all for a little spirited driving here and there, or a little match in a deserted area, but otherwise save it for the track.
