Hi guys,
So I'm interested in trying to attempt to flash my 2018 gt350 with a 2019+ gt350 ABS firmware via Pro Cal 3 software. I know it can be done as I've done this on my Focus RS, and if the ABS module on the 2018 and 2019+ are the same (just revised for better performance) I was hoping we could figure out how to do it.

I'd imagine wed have to get the abs tune off of a 2019+ first and then try and drop it in a 2015-2018 to test it. Anyone want to help build a database for all of us?

Talked to top Ford engineer about this, there are hardware changes between the 2015-18, versus 19-20.

The ABS modules have different processors. Ford used new and faster processors, solenoids, etc. that came out onto the market and they incorporated those new technologies in the updated cars. Think newer iPhone with upgrades, so without changing the hardware you won’t be successful. It may also require changing other hardware modules that are in the entire IDS system to be successful.

He did say you could do it, but it would be a hardware change as well as flashing the software.
