I have been running a squared setup with 285/35/19 on my 19" SVE R350 & ESR CS15 19 wheels for the last 4+ years and never knew that you could buy this "Steeda S550 Ford Mustang Ultralite 2-Point G-Trac Brace Part#555-5533" to help eliminate the tramlining that occurs when riding wide tires in the front. I just got them installed today at my buddies shop which is a 15-30 minute installation and pretty straight forward with no issues. The one thing I did notice was that in the sub-frame of the S550 there was this "burr" I think Steeda calls it that is inside your sub-frame that needed to be removed with a screw driver so that you can insert your crush sleeve to help support the bolt that needs to be threaded through the sub-frame, if this is not done you cannot feed the crush sleeve into place!

Once I pulled my car off the lift and started driving home I COULDN'T BELIEVE how much of a difference this G Trac Brace changed the driving and steering feel of my wide front tires, it's just amazing! The other great thing is it's a cheap mod "$133USD/$165CAD"and makes a world of difference! For the last 4 years I have been driving and ALWAYS had to have my hand on the steering wheel just incase it would pull but now I can just let it go and it just drives straight with no pulling to either direction!

If anyone wants to just enjoy driving without the mental worries of your car pulling to one direction I would highly suggest grabbing this G Track Brace for your S550!

I had purchased mine from Ebay as it was the cheapest price I could find.

I fixed mine by switching tires. It came from Ford with Cup 2’s and they tram lined really bad. Switched to a set of super sports and tram lining is completely gone.

I have 2 sets of summer wheels running the same squared setup so for me this was the cheapest and cost effective way to resolve it so thank God that did the job! Those tires you have are way over 2K+ in Canada so I'm a poor boy! 🤓

Really don’t see how technically this bar can do anything about tramlining......

It is amazing how much the Steeda brace reduces, tramlining.
I am having a hard time understanding how buying new tires and/or wheels are cheaper than a $100.00 brace that works.

cause I have the brace, and it didn’t do a dam thing...

...swapping the tires is what fixed it for me.

I have 275/35s all around but I blame my tramlining issues on the roads entirely. I would be willing to try the Steeda bar tho

Exactly. I live in AZ now with decent roads and my 275s up front never have an issue. In MA with 265’s it was a workout just driving down the street.

I can assure you this G Track Brace works because I have SVE R350 19 inch wheels wheels running 285/35/19's squared just the same as my second set of wheels ESR CS15's which I just bought 2 months ago, got the G Track Brace on today and for 4+ years this is the first time my car felt like I have narrow tires in the front but really don't! I usually have to drive with my hands on the wheels and this is the first time I didn't have to worry about the car pulling to one direction if I'm hitting a groove on the road!

Maybe it did something for you guys running 285s and under...but with the factory 305 cup2‘s on the front of my R, I wasted the money on this bar.

My fronts are 295’s and switching to Super Sports is a night and day difference.
