First Service Check

Initially my dealer said to come in at 2500 for a checkup & full synthetic oil change. Aparantly they just did a check up and and said to do an oil change at 15000km or 1year, whatever comes first.
Still I wanted an oil change to get the first debree out of it but they said it wasn't necesarry. Maybe they are right or maybe not, I don't know. Anyway, while I was there they installed my catchcan on the house.

Can I ask which dealership you have? I will be getting my car very soon and I'm still in doubt about a)buying a catch can or not b) which catch can(s) and c) how to get it installed... Thanks in advance!

Did my first service check yesterday, 16400 km and 1 year minus 5 days

I had to go to my bad dealer.. they change oil, oil filter and cabin air filter, plus some check (= nothing) and I paid 230 eur.
I asked them to remove the stupid belt minder and they said they are not able to disable it maybe asking to Ford or... "OK" I said, "don't worry, I'll disable myself with my pc and an OBD scanner" and they :eyebulge:
What a satisfaction!

But you definitely need to find another Dealer to bring your car...

Well this is the first and last time I need them, since the next year at 30k km warranty will be at the end so I can go to my frind's garage and pay 70 eur for the oil change.
After all, being a ford store don't make them more aware that the mustang is a ford car..

Still very happy with the UPR Plug N Play SC Oil Catch Can. If I would get another one I might go with the dual valve. There a bunch of threads about catch can, definitely one of the first mods if you wan't keep your engine clean, Ecoboost & GT...

only 230? damm.... I paid 600 something.... :x damm switzerland... but it's normal here.. don't want to know how much is the "big service" :doh: :lol:

But I'm happy with the dealer, he already fixed some minor problems and now they also did a good job fixing a small damage done by someone while I was parked :frusty:

Yeah good price (but if I go to a regular garage - not a ford dealer) I would pay half this price or lower.
I bet they don't even notice that I replaced the stock CAI with the MMR

Did mine earlier this month. 4900 km after seven months, all that was required was an oil change, but that cost me 350 Euros.

I did get a Focus RS as a courtesy car though!
