For those in the know with paint codes (rather than names)
The Ford paint code for Eruption Green is FA. I doubt it is the same as the Puma ST color you are referring to though, which is called 'Mean Green'. That color appears to be much lighter than Eruption Green.

Are you there god? It’s me Michael. I know we haven’t talked much recently, but please let that green be an option for the regular mustangs. It needs a good green 🙏

I'm also down for that blue/purple. Both look great though and would make me park in the sun more. I mean, the Ruby Red has me in the sun more as it is.

tis a shame it doesn't have the actual oil-slick shimmer. Looks like a slightly lighter version of Antimatter Blue. Saw one yesterday, indoors. Might as well be black.

I was hoping for more of a Mystic / Mystichrome vibe too but it f does appear very dark. I’ve never been crazy about grabber blue but this one doesn’t look bad with a little bit of metallic. Reminded me a bit of the blue on the Focus RS?

I’m happy to see more options for people. Luckily for me I got the color I had to have, I wish you all the same outcome.

Admittedly I have only seen GTHIG in photos, but from looking at the mean green car at work it looks ‘much’ darker :like:

mean green is metalic, like a metalic version of the lime green from 2020-21. N4G is a non-metalic color and much more pure green than the heavy yellow in 'mean'. The OLD mean green from like the 60's is a med-dark green with heavy metalic content.

The european 'puma' mean green seems to be half-way between N4G and the 2020 Lime with lots of metalic.

Interesting how colors with the same name can be different, and colors with different names but the same paint code can be the same.

All though I’ve been waiting for a green for a while (was hoping for grabber green) I am really digging the oil slick instead. I also wish it was just mystic chrome though, regardless still a nice color. Maybe we’ll get lucky like how “yellow peel” turned into grabber yellow.

Are the actual paint samples already released to body shops? Or is this just a try and make it look like the photo attempt?

I love my f8 green T/A 392. Picked it up July 3rd. Can’t wait to see a similar color on the mustang.

That doesn't look a think like the spray out.
