First Month Ownership Assessment — Outstanding Sept 2022

Today is one month since I picked up my new Mustang, and this is my assessment at this point:.

• The car: 2022 Mustang Ecoboost Premium Convertible, Rapid Red, 201A, Coastal Limited, A10 transmission, Electronic Tuned Exhaust, Mini Spare, Ordered 2/28/22 Delivered to me 8/23/22.
• Mileage today 9/23/22: 4,066; only about 100 interstate, rest were fun roads!!! Includes a 3-day break-in trip to SW Colorado the week I picked it up, and an 11-day trip (concluded today) through backcountry of Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, eastern Washington, eastern Oregon, and Utah. Pictures from this trip below.
• Average MPG: 29.8; would be 33-34 if I could keep my foot off the accelerator!!! My max speed was 1##.
• Service: Oil/filter changed at my Fire dealer at 1200 miles
• Issues: NONE. Quality of the build is outstanding, including fit of doors, panels, hood, trunk, etc.
• Drivetrain: GREAT. Smooth, lots of power when you get on it. That turbo is greatttt! A10 transmission performing really well. Handles great for cruising highway sweepers and twisties!
• Convertible top works great!
• Sound system (9 speaker) is only fair, but plenty good for my old ears!
• Nav system worked well and convenient, but I carry an atlas to help me decide those special backroads! I like it!
• PROS: Everything. SWEET, SWEET, FUN, FUN. I love this car! Lots of positive comments from lots of people. Why did I wait so long — guess I waited for the right car, and this is it!
• CONS: My heavy foot and too many bugs on the front (major cleaning tomorrow).

Those are part of the Coastal Limited package. Same ones as the Calif Special for the GT. Looks. Non-functional. I like them.

I really like it. I also really liked the MP and EG. Almost went with the Atlas Blue, but glad I decided on RR.

Really happy for you! I Envy those pictures, and the spare time you have to take them! Looks like the roads are empty, probably because you are going during weekdays when other people are busy working.

That’s awesome….I sure can relate to the bugs…front of my car is a mess…I’m Day 18 on our road-trip at just over 6900 miles so far….Thanx for the tip…Leaving Yellowstone to Cody we did the Chief Joseph Highway to Beartooth and hit some snow drifts on Beartooth that made it interesting.

An update:
Now seven weeks of ownership and 5,850 miles. No more big trips until spring. The car continues to bring big smiles to my face and still no issues with the car. Very pleased in all aspects!!! Just returned yesterday from a 4-day trip around Utah and Colorado — couple of pictures below.
