We have new photos showing the interior of a next-generation GT350 Mustang prototype. We can confirm that this vehicle will retain a six-speed manual transmission, which is also clearly shown in these interior photos. As you can see, the interior is still in early prototype condition and does not reflect all of the trim differences that will be applied to this new high-performance variant. Be on the lookout as these prototypes continue to evolve. As before, the quad-exhaust set-up is clearly visible beneath the rear bumper, although the rear valance design is expected to change.

Yep, great photos

I really hope GT350 at least has the option of the larger NAV screen and associated toggle switches. That console is more V6 rental than halo car in my opinion.

I appreciate it's still early, and nothing's final yet..........but just want to ensure Ford get this feedback ;)

What if this isn't a Halo car? I thought we were looking at the Boss 302 successor and that the GT500 was the Halo car?

I guess I will have to buy the toggle switches separately and install them. They are a deal breaker.

Well, all indications are that GT350 is first up and will be the halo car. If a GT500 follows at some point remains to be seen.

What are those cut-outs at the front corners?
Behind the front wheels? Those would be vents designed to pull air out of the engine bay and wheel well to reduce front end lift at speed.

Just so we are on the same page: a Halo car has the best of everything meant to be the top of the heap.

This car to me seems like the track car meant to replace the Boss 302. That car did not come with navi, leather, or anything from even a premium optioned GT. From appearances so far, if it doesn't make the car better performing it doesn't look like it's going into this car.

Maybe we're only slightly different pages as both Boss 302 and GT500 were halo Mustangs in my book...........one a master of the track and a "driver's car", the other a balls-out straight line monster........with all mod cons ;)

I guess I want a mix of both. The best driver's Mustang ever, but with all the bells and whistles. Although I appreciate I may not get this :)

Can I ask what those little boxes are on the dash there?
Passenger ejector seat and MIB transformation button.

That would be cool, though I doubt Ford will go that route. And as much as I'd love something like that, I have a feeling my bank account will force me into a GT track pack. At least though it will still be quite the driver's car and also available with all the fun little features and luxuries.
