Wow......that's some increase on the CFTP!!!

And at least we should be back to a more "normal" model year for '22 if the first vehicles are scheduled for October (the '20MY has been a looooooooooong one!)

I had heard that the 2021MY would be a short one, they were referring to it as the 2021-1/2MY.
Hopefully 2021 will not be plagued by any shutdowns or problems on the line or with suppliers.

Is the Carbon Fiber Handling package simply the option to where you can get the Carbon wheels on the standard? Any reason why this would be "limited"? You would think it would be the other way around with Carbon Fiber Track Pack being the more limited package.

Evidently it will be the Carbon wheels just painted black like the R has. No word if the swing will be in carbon (I doubt it). If the exposed wheels go away for the full carbon option I think that will make a lot of people mad who want to pay for them as they look way better.

If any swinging Johnson can get over the top stripes with no limit, this will be a bigger disaster than the very few that Penske couldn't keep up with in the '20 MY.

This will be a disaster of epic proportions unless Ford did something to either change the process or the contractor.

I'd wager there were tweaks done at Penske or with the contract.

Perhaps painting them black allows them to sell the wheels that are structurally sound but have visual imperfections with regards to how the weave is laid.

I always wondered what they were going to do with the blems.

For those that keep asking, it simply ain't happening. But you can get an electric Mustang SUV and save the spotted owl/polar bears now! Or at least make yourself feel good about playing the shell game and shifting one resource for another and helping to make everything more expensive. Yay!

Makes sense......'20MY ran from around Sept/Oct 2019 to Dec 2020 (thanks Covid!)......to get back on track, the '21MY would need to run from Jan 2021 to Sept/Oct 2021
