what you guys think - i don't think the paintwork is the best on the bullit, i can already see bits peeling off in places. is it worth putting a cover on when not in use?

2) dashboard clock? any suggestions/reccomendations that fit in with the style of the bullit, that i could look into?
i have alot of wires dangling and my phone on the vent mount, so i sometimes struggle to see the time... i think a dash clock would alleviate this issue. anyone else use one?

Ford paint is thin but I'm surprised any is peeling, can you post pics? The only place that I have paint issues is where road debris has hit it and left chips.

Why?
If it's a Apple or Android smartphone, you can mirror the display to the Sync3 and place your phone somewhere else, like in the cup holder.
With a small additional box on the USB port under the armrest, you can even leave it in your pocket when you're not charging.

Regarding the cover, will the car be kept in a parking garage? Outside, on the pavement?

Someone pointed out previously covers are not necessarily a good idea, if the car is parked in an area where humidity is often present underneath; the cover has the potential to trap it and the car.

There are aftermarket boxes to get the wireless connection into every headunit with wired projection.
For Apple most known seems to be CarlinKit https://www.carlinkit.store
There might be better alternatives for Apple, you might have to do some research yourself.
I am more into Android, there would be my recommendation AAwireless https://www.aawireless.io/
We have 3 of the AAwireless boxes, 2 of them in use with Sync3.

Both should be available on Amazon, too.

Re cover - if the car is outside wouldn't a cover just slap against the paintwork and remove it?

Phone issue - no idea I use android with Bluetooth for calls and a USB stick for music. Mostly use the Varex exhaust for music..
