fellow Houstonians - what's your experience with exhaust mods and State Inspection

I just bought a used 2019 mustang with a muffler delete. I am ok with the sound but I know that it can be an issue during state inspection (Muffler required per Texas law). So I am looking at axle back exhaust options like the Flowmaster outlaw or NXT Step, but I am very much interested in Catbacks aswell, like MBRP race, which sounds awesome!

What is your experience with exhaust mods during State Inspection in Houston? Is a resonator delete acceptable?
Has anyone successfully cleared State inspection with MBRP Catback exhaust systems?

As long as it scans ok, you shouldn't have any issue.

I have never seen a state inspector look under a car for mufflers. DPS is a different story.
