I have a deep sentimental love for the tri-bar emblem, reaching back to my childhood and my first love, a '79 Fox coupe that belonged to my sister. I'm of the opinion that this emblem belongs on every Mustang, so the plain-Jane V6 horse had to go.

my mods are pretty limited but exhaust for sure. roush axle back first and put an x pipe on this weekend. i need that extra sound/ non- stock sounding exhaust note. also the livernois tune with E85 really woke the car up, so that's a close, but it would still feel incomplete without the proper sound. and here i told myself i was going to keep it stock this time. HA! that lasted about a day... lol

How did u put the tri bar on? Is it a direct emblem swap or did you buy the Pony package rear? It's not quite as big as the emblem on the pony package cars. It's also not nearly as pricey. I found the emblem and trunk panel on Ebay.

The emblem isn't large enough to cover the holes they made for the V6 emblem. I think it's the same situation with the GT emblem. It requires a new trunk panel.
