Factory cat to Resonator exhaust piping

Was wondering who sells from factory cats to Resonator (or H-pipe) exhaust, preferably in a 3" diameter. Thanks.

If you have a welder, I got some stainless exhaust pipe from Amazon and an h pipe. It have several pre bent curves, I used a chop saw and pieced it together.

Also, used stainless flux. Isn't the pretties buy worked.

I would check in Manitoba with a Canadian Speed wholesaler because H-pipes or X-pipes are relatively inexpensive, but once shipped over the border they would get ridiculous with conversion, shipping , value added tax , etc. Not sure if some of the Ford Performance Dealers in the Snowy North would have a resonator delete x or h pipe in their inventory, but you do have Steeda of Canada and I know they make a quality unit. Good luck my friend! You also have Multimatic just a Province over and they might also have something.

For the money to do that you could just buy the longtubes and catless mids from lethal this month I think they're on sale for $725 shipped until next week

Hook up to factory cat housing = cutting & welding. But you knew that right.

The cat outlet is 2.5”, one side smooshes for the flex joint, then they both neck down to 2.25” for the resonator. I’m not so sure going to 3”, with 2.5” or less before and after it, will improve much.

Got the 3" H-pipe to exits already.

So what I did was purchase some 304 sanitary piping eccentric 4x3 .080 wall reducers. I cut the cones off the stock cats, leaving a ~3.5” hole. I welded the eccentric reducers on, then used a 3” 304 mandrel bend to turn from the reducer to the rear. Then all I needed was 2 pair of stainless mandrel bends to dog-leg to a *true* 3” stainlessbros resonator.

I flux-core welded it with 309, which looked awful but seems to stick ok. I’ve since re-done some of the welds using 309 solid wire and tri-mix gas, which comes out much nicer.
