The issue for me is its even more time modding is a bad idea. If im buying a first model year it might be a good idea. For a s550 the problems are well known and will be priced in.

Buy Ford ESP from an online dealer that is cheaper and specializes in selling ESP in bulk at a low margin (e.g. Flood Ford). On a new car you can wait until like 35 months or 35k miles and buy it right before the factory B2B expires and it only costs about $100 more.
