I am checking on the price of the PremiumCare ESP via Flood Ford ascthey are supposed to have some of the best pricing, in addition to Granger as I’m buying through them. Flood seems to be pricing the ESP for the Mach 1 the same as the GT vs the GT500.

I normally dont purchase ESPs, but am considering if I can obtain a decent price and I plan on keeping this one for a while.

Thought I would check if others have purchased.

I bit for the tire and the dent packages (my dealer already offers free windshield replacement) and I can say the tire package already paid for itself (cotter pin in the right rear on day three of ownership.) In the past I never went for the extended warranty. I'm glad I did this time. And I'm going to try very hard to avoid using the dent package, but it's there in case I need it. YMMV

Warranty for the Mach 1 should be the same as the gt. It is a parts bin car closely related to a gt

I read somewhere that it is worth for the plan that includes the Sync system bc that is very expensive to repair once it is out of warranty

I bought through granger. Initially refused but they said it covers my motor and trans etc even if modified with a blower.

I was and kinda still at skeptical but they said call them direct if anyone issues. Hopefully I never need it though.

I bought one when I closed last month. PremCare 84mo 60k $100 ded $2225.80 + Lifetime powertrain for free through the dealer as long as I own the car.
Extending the warranty is a no-brainer for me being that one issue after 36mo can be far more than the cost of the entire extended plan. It's also a great selling point if you sell the car yourself instead of trading. People will pay up for a car with a transferrable plan for $100. If you trade it in, you can also cash in the plan, prorated to miles already used through the original selling dealer.

I’m highly skeptical but they said call them so I will. Hopefully I never need it though.
Did they sell the the Ford ESP? I thought a blower may only be covered if installed by the dealer? I may put one on in a few years, but always assumed I’m on my own if the engine blows if I installed it myself.

if its the ford performance one, any ase tech. However I understand that warranty is through Roush and not Ford. Id be really surprised if Ford covered a blower under extended warranty. If Granger will put it in writing and you are willing to risk having to tow it to them maybe?

It's one thing if it's cheap it's another if they actually pay up. I'd read the fine print very closely. Also not sure why anyone would get tire insurance. Most ones people get on here are pricy and should have hazard warranties already.

It’s the Ford warranty, not 3rd party, so I’m not concerned about payment.

Flood Ford has a decent price for the 8yr 100k 100 deductible PremiumCare plan that seems worthwhile.

Just to put this out there, but you can always wait until your factory warranty is about to expire before purchasing an ESP, and there are lots of options to pick from. Check out the guys at You Advocate Alliance on youtube they have a couple good videos on buying the right ESP, like this link:

Eg assurance is whom granger uses. It’s not a Ford ESP

Read all the fine print and ask questions... Is this ESP Warranty in effect AFTER the new car 3/36 and 5/60 Powertrain has expired OR is it an ESP Warranty that runs concurrently with the existing 3/36 or 5/60? Some ESP's start as of the vehicle purchase date and do run concurrently - not many sellers of such warranties will tell consumer that fact.

The Ford 5/60 Powertrain covers quite a bit, not many owners read up on this either... but are sold ESP's that cover the same components.

The bigger question should be:
Will you run out at miles or years first with any Warranty? An Extended Warranty (any) won't be beneficial to anyone if the car is mostly garaged and sees limited miles - so even though you may have limited miles 5 years goes by quick too... and still ends the warranty.

If the ESP runs concurrently with the 3/36 or 5/60, then get the one with the longest length of coverage - such as a 7/100 or 8/120, whatever may be the most current plan.

Also when buying any warranty, it's not always important at what it covers, it's what the plan does NOT cover. HVAC, head/tail lamps and electrical components are the biggest ticket items aside from Powertrain that are the most expensive cost of repairs today with modern vehicles.

Well, obviously insurance and extra warranty are like gambling at a casino, the house always win
If you buy everything on credit, always have a balance on your credit cards, do not have a comfortable amount of money saved and therefore a few thousands dollars repair bill would bankrupt you, sure, go ahead otherwise it’s a loosing proposition and a waste of money
