You sound like your married….

I have the Ford performance vent. The exterior, although obviously not the same design, is excellent in quality. The underside is not finished at all, and very rough looking. However, you do get a nice dry carbon rain tray with the Ford Performance version. I would say the python will look better on the underside, assuming you asked for that when having it built. The top side comes down to personal preference, they both are exceptional quality.

I am married but my wife has zero input on how I spend my money as long as the bills are paid . My point was that it would seem redundant to purchase both.

I did opt for the finished underside and it looks really nice with the rain tray removed.

Looks like we have 4 of the fully finished top and bottom coming out this week. Happy to see them getting delivered soon.

I will have to stop finished undersides on remaining vents as the process eats up a lot of time and leaves greater room for vents failing QC. It’s more important I get these in your guys hands for now. Some additional finishing is still there and looks legit. Anyone that paid for the full finished underside will see an adjustment.

Going to have gloss black Python GT500 hood vents coming available. Will have roughly 10 of these on deck in about 3 weeks for any that want the bad ass hood vent but don’t want the exposed carbon fiber look. They are in for paint now. DM me if you’re in that crowd

Good news to share on the Python hood vent production. Since moving away from the finished backside the build process has been much smoother. This past month we got 7 of them completed and delivered! This has gotten us past the 50% mark in fulfilling orders.

Builds are a mix of forged and twill, but at this rate everyone should have vents in hand by Christmas. Most will be done next month, as we only have 15 of them to go. I will send you an email with UPS shipping information as soon as yours is done.

Just finished trimming on all the remaining forged hood vents and moving them into paint. Back to laying the 2x2 twill next week.
