Exhaust tip slightly touching bumper

Quick question: is it dangerous if my exhaust tip is slightly rubbing the bumper? It does get hot to the touch, not sure if this can melt the black plastic. I'm going to try and adjust it soon when I get a chance, but am worried about driving it in the mean time.

It can. It did for me, there was some slight fraying, just loosen the clamps and push up on the resonator or X pipe / whatever you got.

Found the pic. I took the pic after I adjusted the exhaust but I circled where it was melting / getting damaged.
