So hey all I'm new here just got my first ever mustang it's a 2016 California special gt and im really wanting some catback exhaust but I was wondering if it will give me an engine check light if I install it.

I have borla Stype catback and Touring. Both are amazing sound and good quality parts. Corsa is also a huge forum fav.

Put on a good set of headphones or listen beside a good speaker. Go on YouTube and start searching exhaust systems and see what sounds good to you. There are so many different setups, it's crazy. Cue the head spin. Personally, I think Roush and Corsa sound great.

Hey Papa, you won't have any issue with a check engine light like the others stated until you start getting to a mid pipe and or headers from relocating the O2. Borla S-type then. ATAK is pretty loud at full tilt but it's easy to keep it quiet if you want.

Check out the AWE Touring. Uses a H Pipe instead of X Pipe so it has a deeper tone to the rumble. Its loud but not wake the dead loud. Great quality stuff.

Based on what you are looking for, I would also recommend the Borla S-Type. It gives a deep rumble in the lower rpm range with a little rasp at WOT. It was exactly what I was looking for. I have a 2019 so I am not sure how much different it would sound on a 2016.
