I have an H pipe resonator delete and axlebacks. I've tightened the clamps on the rear end of the H pipe two different times where the h pipe meets the stock piping before reaching the muffler piping and it seems it keeps coming loose and one side will turn slightly and droop down.

What did you torque yours to? I made it really tight but didn't use a torque wrench..

Here is a pic of the specific clamps im referring to:

5 FT LBS before they snap! haha JKJK. I used my makita electric impact until they stopped turning. With the minimal hangers, and many slip joints that joint takes all the strain of the twist in the system...

The Magnaflow install manual said 38 lb/ft. The clamps they provide look similar to those

Yeh I believe most manufacturers say about 40 ft lbs.

There is no reason to crank down on them with an impact, you can actually deform the piping or break the clamps.

Tighten with a ratchet until the nut just stops turning and may 1/8 turn after, not cranking on it, and that is likely around 40-50. Or get a torque wrench.

Try moving the clamps so they are in line with the edge of the pipe they're on.

From what I can see in the picture, it looks like you have them at the inner end of the slot that is cut in the pipe. That will reduce the overall clamping pressure of the strap. Which could cause it to slip. The picture is a little blurry though, so I could be mistaken.

Made the rear H-pipe clamps 50 (I think I did around 40-45 initially), muffler clamps 35, and tips 25. Damn thing better not move :)
