The brake dust drives me nuts. I will try the new pads that someone suggested. When I bought the car I knew these rims were going to be a bear to clean- so went in expecting it :-)

Second on the pad change to the Z26 and the Brembo's are very easy to change. I run these on my Camaro and the brake dust is barely a 1/10th of what it was, really wish I had done this on the 15 GT/PP that I did have.

I've watched a few videos on changing the front pads (already ordered the Powerstop Z26s)...and it looks extremely easy.

Are the rear pads as easy to change?

I'm also prob not going to get my rotors cut with this pad change- 2Kmiles of non-track driving. Does anyone see an issue with that?

Thanks

You’ll be fine!!! There is a break in procedure with the pads.... I just drove normal...they are fine . I do notice there is much less pressure required to apply the brakes! Also a more sure grip..you’ll notice a difference!!

Before and after. Done. Honestly took me about 5min for each side once it was jacked and tire removed. Piece of freakin cake. I just ordered the same Z26's for the back. Thanks to you all for the insight.

Constant heavy brake dust on my front pp rims was the main reason for going to the aftermarket graphite s350 rims...I can now deal with it between car washes cause it's barely noticeable.

Soooo....as others have mentioned... Ceramic coat in and out...then change to Carbon Fiber Pads....dust is almost all gone!!! And with the Cermic Coating...just rinse off....easy-peasy!!

Hi Voo Doo-
Just received the rear pads from Amazon. Will do these over the weekend.

If there are any tips you can give on changing the rear pads I'm all ears. I already have the special tool to turn in the caliper piston to compress it in- if needed

How do y’all keep the brake dust from clinging to your Black PP wheels? It seems I can wash them and two days later they’re covered again with brake dust.
Avoid tire dressings

Is this part # Z26-1793 for fronts only? Did you do the rears also, and if so, what is that part #?

Thanks, Rick

Guys... I had. 2015 GT PP with the Brembos...same set up as my 19 BULLITT! I also bought drilled/slotted rotors at the same time!! Transferred all these parts to my BULLITT.. they have the exact same set up as all PP equipped Mustangs....re brakes!!!... so just do it!! I’ve had so many local guys do the swap with their Black wheel set up...then Ceramic Coat the wheels.....they are constantly thanking me for the tip!! You will not regret it!! As Arnie would say..... Doooo Eeeeet !!!!!

I put same pads on mine because of brake dust.... However, before doing that I started using that turtle wax ice seal and shine or whatever everyone was praising and lemme tell you, I had almost zero dust with factory pads. That stuff is amazing. use it all the time car entire car, wheels and windows..
