Weird question/possible thread highjack:

How are the laws in Belgium when it comes to modifying cars? I have an apartment in Antwerpen and thought about registering my car there instead of Switzerland since the laws here basically prohibit most mods.

Hi Vincent,

It is really complicated nothing can be really done on the cars.

And Belgium is complicated too in Wallonia the car taxes are very expensive. It is less expensive in Flanders but be prepared for nice bill ;-)

Did this ever happen?
I’d be up to swap; be heading to Europe soon and trying to get as close to EU specs as possible.

I mean technically speaking you're not allowed to modify your car in Canada too. There's a ticket for everything like tints, exhaust, etc. You can get your car impounded for performance mods.. But I guess thats the price you pay on top of the price of the mods
