You will need to change those. 3/8" spacers only raise the rear about 3/4". Stock height springs should clear. I was lowered half an inch, and went up 3/4" for 1/4" over stock height. These tires are 29.5" tall, and grow at speed. The tire height does help with traction though. Pushes my first gear shift from 35mph to 39mph too.

I have the stock springs in my garage. If I throw them on do you think I’ll even need spacers?

Switching to the 315 R's will definitely help. Check your camber to make sure its at a desirable angle else wise you'll want get the adjustable camber links and the camber adjustment lockouts. Pushing the power that you are I'd also recommend getting subframe bushings, differential bushings and a 4-pice bracing system. What shocks are you running?

So I recently pullied down from a 3.25” 6 rib to a 2.875” on a Gen 5 Whipple in hopes of getting my 60-130mph under 5 sec. Car has a sleeved motor and clutches on the 10R80. My best is 5.17 sec with the 3.25”. Problem is, with the 2.875” pulley the car won’t hook till about 80mph. Current tire/suspension setup is 305/45/17 ET street SS, BMR vertical links, rear toe rods, cradle lock outs. Will ET Street Rs give me a chance to hook from at least 60? Any recommendations for suspension upgrades? I’m trying to hook up on the street not just at the track.
The 305/45R17 Street R would be a great option street/ strip and is one of our most popular drag tires. We've got them in stock ready to go as well.

Stock shocks. Is it unrealistic for me to expect to hook from at least 60mph on the street if I upgrade to Rs and beef up the rear suspension? Right now all I got is rear toe rods, vertical links, and cradle lock outs

Any experience with them in the rain? Would driving at say 30-40mph tops be possible in that case?

I found 40mph or less in a downpour works.

You're really going to need to get them nice and warmed up before making a 60-130 pull with that much power. If you haven't already, I would also lower the tire pressure as well. I usually do my 60-130s with about 18psi and 2nd gear with 800whp/850wtq and hook without issue on Street S/S's. If you have any questions about how to get it to hook up better, feel free to shoot me a message anytime. #Teamlethal.

If you take it easy you should be fine if you get caught in a down pour but heavy rain they're not ideal since they're a radial.

Unrealistic, yeah for the most part. You're not going to be able to hammer it outright with that power; throttle actuation will be paramount. You're off to a good start with suspension; consider those other items I mentioned. Your rear alignment could very well be off and your bushings have likely seen better days. They weren't built for the task of holding that type of torque.

I hook at about 850RW from a dig with 315/50/17's if they are warmed up a little. Cold will spin a bit in first. From a 40 roll you should be golden with the 315's at 950RW. Keep rainy driving under 40 and you should be fine. It's a huge improvement over my 305/35/19 drag radials, which would spin in 5 gears.

Thank you all for the replies, I appreciate it. Et Street Rs and a beefier suspension seems to be my only hope. Worst case if that doesn’t work, I can pulley back up to a 3.25” (15psi) and just enjoy a mid to high 9 sec car.

ET street R arent safe over like 20 mph in active rain. I hydroplaned at like 20 mph and just decided to pull over for a while until the rain stopped.
