Does anyone know if these are more stable than the hoosier's? Even with skinnies I start swaying once I get over 100+mph. Also can anyone chime in on wethr the sway gets worse or better if your car is lowered?

More stable than Hoosiers yes. It still sways but not like the Hoosiers. Are your skinnies radials or bias plys? bias plys skinnies with the Hoosiers went straight as an arrow.

I have Hoosier bias ply slicks & skinnies and no problem with swaying. I set slicks at 13.5 psi and skinnies at 38psi. Launch at 6k. On the street I keep slicks at 23psi and skinnies at 35psi

I have bias ply skinnies and I still have some sway. I have to run a 18 wheel upfront due to being a PP car. This is my first car with slicks so I might be a little sensitive.

Here are my 28x11.5x17 Mickey Thompson ET Street R bias-bly tires and 28x6x17 Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires. This should be a killer combo with my Whipple Stage 2 setup that is happening in about a week. I was torn about pairing a radial front with the bias-ply rear, because of sway, but after speaking with a few people that run this same tire setup I don't anticipate any issues.

I assume non skinny radial fronts pose more of an issue.

Correct. With the stock 20" rims up front and these M/T bias ply at 25psi, it's an "unsettled" feeling. I can't imagine at race pressures of 12-15psi. :eyebulge:

I just bought a pair for the rear as well for this coming Saturdays test and Tune night. On some 03 Corba wheels with the stock pp up front. Hopefully the sway isn't to bad lol....

The description on summits website says a tube is required. Is that true?
