Sadly it won’t, It won’t even be at the same “power level” than the ZR1.
What do you mean? How much horsepower it will have? I mean, the ZR1 has 755HP... are you saying that it will have less than 755HP?

It will be a lot closer to the Hellcat than to the ZR1, that’s all what I will say about it.

It is sounding more and more like the 500 is going to be a dud

If it has 727HP like the Roush P51 I’d be really disappointed.
Yep, so much so, that I will not be buying it. So the wait begins (again)

Mmmmm close but think even a little more “Hellcater” Power wise.

Between the Hellcat-ZR1 range, it’s charged towards the Hellcat (pun intended).

It will be super fast either way, the power is not everything.

Power to weight ratio and weight distribution are to very important. The ZL1 is about 6.07 and hellcat is around 6.25, Z06 is around 5.5. If my math is correct!! If they could keep weight around 3900 lbs and have 725 (seems conservative!) they’d have a 5.38 ratio!!! Maybe rather then going higher HP they go for a bit lower weight, so more CF maybe!!

I like to disassemble things.
He knows, but he doesn’t want to tell me more information regarding the transmission and he avoids answering me everytime I ask him about a manual. He says that it will be crazy fast, but that’s it.
He's your brother. You can legally put him in a headlock and make him tell (at least until your mother tells you to cut the crap).

Tom I wouldn't say that at all. I suggested 737hp in the poll based on a couple of things Ford has done in years past. Just prior to official announcement, power figures that are mentioned are usually done so with a bit of reserve. When official power figures are announced they are often higher. I had heard somewhere between 700-720. As such, I bumped my own guess to 737hp as much as I still believe that is optimistic.

Power figures aside, I have little doubt that Ford will be producing an absolute beast with the latest and greatest. If DCT equipped - huge breakthrough.

He’s 6’6 and a professional wrestler.... I won’t take my chances with him hahaha

5.76 ratio, this is the last thing I will say in here.

When you say professional wrestler, like real Olympic wrestling or WWE wrestling?

5.76, that’s pretty legit!! However, that does tell us it’s probably heavier than we were hoping, looking at the weight of around 4100 to 4200 pounds.

Hate to say it but Yes. I was only in if it was mind blowing. It will be fast, thats for sure but its not going to be the destroyer, like I was hoping for. Oh well. There is always hope that there could be something else with more HP and tech down the line for '21. Until then I'm gonna spend more time looking into the ME vette, which sounds fantastic.
I've been thinking about buying a car thats 13 YO toward the end of this year, so the options are on the table.
