Hey all,

The spring itch has taken over and I decided to go after the supercharger/intake/BMR engine mount install.

Overall everything has gone well - the engine mounts were a PITA. Bought the bracket style and getting all 4 bolts in is near impossible. That’s another story though.

Where I am really struggling right now is with the vacuum hose routing. Snapped some photos to try to get some understanding. I have 3 potential connections on the intake, but far more connections from the stock install. Pictures shown. What I can figure is that the brake booster will be connected to the top right connection on the intake. The others I am clueless. Should have done a better job marking/researching this, but hopeful the forum can help.

I have also installed an ESS supercharger, and that ismostly complete - just need to hook the BOV to a constant vacuum source.

Any and all help is appreciated!

The boss manifold should be very similar to an 18+ manifold just the vacuum ports are on the side and it doesn’t have the imrc port.

Proshop nailed it. Passenger side port on the boss goes to passenger side PCV, one drivers side port goes to the brake booster (needs a check valve probably) and the other goes to the purge valve for EVAP.

Thank you! I will get some more photos and a video of it running now that it is all put back together. Can't wait to work through the data logging and tune revisions(if necessary) and really hit it.

Little video showing the car at idle. Running smooth.

Chased a coolant leak back to a bad o ring on the plastic coolant tee. Replaced o ring and plastic tee with a metal tee. Leak is fixed.

Finishing data logging and anxious for some warmer weather!

Going to spend some time this weekend cleaning up the engine from the project.

How did you hook up the Blow off valve? To where? Is it possible to just hook the blow off valve to a solid check valve and ziptie it somewhere near the bumper? Cuz im also stuck here lmao

this is the one I ordered at the recommendation from ESS:https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B093S5G3JG?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Along with a small piece of 3.5” metal coupling:https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004AJ34I2?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Requires some trimming and patience for fitment, but worked out in the end.

As far as the blowoff valve is concerned, I used a T off of one of the vacuum lines going to the intake manifold. I’m no expert, but believe in order for the diaphragm to work it needs a constant vacuum reference. I can snap a photo later if that helps.

Yeah I dont have that T anymore since I have a cobra jet manifold, do you know what that T is called maybe I can order that part only and yes a pic would definitely help💪 also that coupler, did you have to cut that one or the original coupler? Or you mean you had to cut only the metal 3.5 coupling?
