If you don’t want to go with tie wraps and want something a bit more secure / professional looking, use two of these per loom anchor point :

One sized for the Steeda crash bar and the other sized for the loom. Secure them together with a stainless cap head and nyloc. Those clips are also available in stainless

Sounds just like mine and I didn’t order the straight cut either. Brevin did say some where going out with straight cut even if they weren’t ordered that way.

Hmm. I remember reading that you had to request straight cut. Is it an option to switch as I didn't really want straight...or is that the only option now?

Got a video or clip? I heard helical is loud at first and then quiets down as they break in.

For those worried about the noise, it’s only loud at idle. Once you’re cruising around you can’t really hear it. The gear whine disappears at a certain rpm. Breaks a lot of necks at cars and coffee.

The hardest part of this install was actually getting the belt on. Mainly because I had no good way of getting the tensioner to max release and holding it there. It took about an hour just to do that. Anyone got any super secret tricks to make this easier?

For me it's a daily. I knew that vortech-style whine would irritate me to no end, which is why I bought this kit, based on what the site says.

Based on what I see here, ESS is hyper-focused on 100% customer satisfaction. I'm sure they will get you swapped out with a helical unit ASAP!
