I saw that video. Max power at 7700 is impressive. I dont really want to over rev it, but it seems many are.

Is 8000 rpm shift point ok long term on a street driven weekend toy at the 9 lbs of boost that is likely making?

for your goals I dont think the extra few hundred RPMs is worth the added stress. the G3 is going to continue making power the higher you rev it, but unless your goal is just a number I would stay in that ~7600 range and drive it for a long time.

Unfortunately no! I stopped working on cars years ago just don’t have the time or patience to do it anymore.

I have a local shop in my area who typically work on JDM’s but they are friends of mine so they are willing to work on mine also. Where are you located? For tuning I stuck with Wengerd Performance they did my Roush tune and now the ESS.

I gotcha! I don’t know of any shops up there but I’m sure there must be a few considering how big JAX is.

Hurricane performance… off blanding blvd… there’s another shop next to them but I don’t remember their name.
They did my +18 IM+injectors swap and zero complaints. I gave them a base PBD tune and then i did all the logs myself for the final tunes. I want them to do the supercharger installation too.
