Thanks for mentioning the horn! I completely forgot to put that in my post. Where did you relocate to or how did you maneuver yours? I wound up twisting the bracket down, adjusting the horns slightly, and calling it a day, but I would have like to have known this ahead of time. @Brevin@ESS That would be a useful addition to the install guide, what does ESS recommend doing with the horns?
Yes the install manual has been updated for the horns. They are just bent out of the way to make room for the filter. This is only on gen 3 cars

I agree, that this kit doesn't feel cheap with the exception of the two included plastic components, It would have been nice to see those as metal/billet parts, but the rest of the kit is super high quality.

Those tees have been updated and will soon be included in every kit. They are now billet and direct plug and play with the factory connectors

Glad to see that these updates are happening with the kit! That is a testament to ESS, they are upgrading the kits and listening to feedback from the consumers.

I like this a lot. It’s nice to see a company listening to the clients and making adjustments along the way so every kit gets better and better.

I think the kit is better than my vortech v3 I had previously. I wasn’t missing any pieces, I just don’t like the cheap dorman plastic stuff and opted to buy my own. My kit had everything needed for install.
If you have a chance, list the plastic parts you replaced and with what and who you purchased them through. Thank You. Good Luck

I posted a link to the ICT piece I used in my original post.

This doesn't have a whole lot to do with the ess supercharger but thought I'd share anyway since the people here probably would also be interested. I had Blackstone do an oil analysis. Everything came back great. I've been using 5w40 Mobil 1. The ess kit has been on since June of 2021. I have about 10k miles on the car since install. My car does have that ticking sound. It was always there since I bought it with 14k miles.

Anyone who ordered in April get their kit yet? I’m a month in, hoping it gets here soon because the tuner I’m going to use is booking up fast with warm weather approaching.
Haha I'd say it's the opposite here. Hot weather approaching so it would slow since many people aren't tracking in 120 degree weather lol.

Price, quality, performance?

Had my car on the dyno today at a local Mustang shop, Rev8 Motorsports in Woodstock Ontario. G2 with G3 intercooler, gt350 manifold, 87mm Bullitt TB, catless LTH full 3" Had the car on the 105mm pulley. Over the winter I added a DW X2 return fuel setup to run E85 and the car was on that fuel today. Made 808hp at 7200. The boost gauge on the dyno machine said the car was only making 10.5psi at 7200, which seems a little low for the pulley. Did 2 pulls and they were near identical. Pretty happy with it over all. Next up is some track time hopefully in the next week or so to try and get that 9 second pass.

That's damn impressive! Any signs the G2 blower is getting outside its efficiency range like higher IAT's?

I think those are great number. I also think you had 10 psi is because your RPM was only 7200. At 7500RPM I bet it would reach 11-12. Great number. Good luck

I think its near its max output at 800hp. Ess says that's where the g2 starts to fall off, i think the numbers falling off after 7200 support that. The g3 better suited for higher hp.

That was my experience as well although I would see more boost than 10psi with the g2 and 105mm however it had reached its peak of air it can move so we only got to 809
