That's a nice list of parts you have going there. What are you shooting for power wise?

I'd like to see 850.That's a nice list of parts you have going there. What are you shooting for power wise?
Damn! You're not messing around. You're likely going to be over 850whp on e85 and that pulley.I ordered all my parts over the weekend Here's my list:
ESS G3 tuner kit w/ 110 mm pulley (9.5 psi.)
Fore Innovations Level 2 fuel system - E85 ready
ID1050-XDS injectors
Calimer stage 3 MT82-D4 transmission
Mcleod RXT clutch delivered
Mcleod stainless braided clutch line. delivered
Wilwood clutch reservoir delivered
Boundary black oil pump gears & crank sprocket
UPR single valve catch can
Reich 170 degree thermostat delivered
Brisk RR12S plugs delivered
Steeda front crash bar
Steeda IRS ultimate stop the hop kit
DSS aluminum driveshaft delivered
DSS 2,000 hp axles delivered
Stifflers driveshaft safety loop
Autometer Ultralite oil pressure gauge
Autometer Ultralite boost/vacuum gauge
Revised Lund tuning for boost
It'll probably be another 5-6 weeks before everything can be installed, as Calimer has a 6ish week lead time on the stage 3 trans. And to throw another wrench in the progression, I'm up for a kidney transplant on 4/20, so there's that.
Not that this helps you right now, but has anyone reached out to griptech for the ESS? Their pulley has a hub, which makes changes easier. For those of you who frequently swap pullies on this kit, what is the preferred method for removing the pulley, heat it with a torch or use a 3 Jaw pulley removal tool?
Of course, I won't know until I get my hands on mine, but I hear the pulley changes are quite a bit easier than some of the competitors. For those of you who frequently swap pullies on this kit, what is the preferred method for removing the pulley, heat it with a torch or use a 3 Jaw pulley removal tool?
Are you talking about the ess kit? Mine is just held on by a 14 mm bolt. I use an impact gun to take on and off. I change pulleys a good bit. No I don't tighten it like a lug nut. Just a second or two of impacting. For those of you who frequently swap pullies on this kit, what is the preferred method for removing the pulley, heat it with a torch or use a 3 Jaw pulley removal tool?
Yes, the ESS kit.Are you talking about the ess kit? Mine is just held on by a 14 mm bolt. I use an impact gun to take on and off. I change pulleys a good bit. No I don't tighten it like a lug nut. Just a second or two of impacting.
I may opt to grab a larger pulley if the power is too much. I'm considering a built short block, but not till maybe next year. Need to keep it in one piece until then.Damn! You're not messing around. You're likely going to be over 850whp on e85 and that pulley.
Hmm maybe because I've removed mine so much it's easier. I haven't had to use any kind of puller it just slides off but I rotate it so the key is facing up so it doesn't drop down. I think once you get it to budge it should slide off.Yes, the ESS kit.
I went to change the pulley yesterday for the first time since the original installation and I was unable to remove the pulley. I was able to remove the 14mm bolt, but the pulley itself I was unable to remove. I didn't use any anti-seize on the SC shaft during installation, so perhaps that is the issue.

The engine was ice cold when I attempted to remove mine, so I'm thinking of trying it with the engine warm to see if that makes it any easier. If not, I'll go buy a puller and remove it that way. Do you have a specific puller that you use?I've had to use a 3-jaw puller on mine a few times.
I have something similar to this. Bit of a pain to setup and use, but it does the trick. The engine was ice cold when I attempted to remove mine, so I'm thinking of trying it with the engine warm to see if that makes it any easier. mine is the same way. slide the pulley on, install the locking key, and tighten down the 14mm bolt. should go off the same way in reverse presumably. if it wasn't a press fit to go on i cant imagine it would be to go off...Are you talking about the ess kit?
